THE DEODORANT TALK NOBODY’S HAVING (BUT WE ALL NEED)
Have you ever thought about the fact that your underarms are one of the most “high maintenance” spots on your body?
They’re warm, covered most of the day, and a lot of us shave there. which can leave the skin more irritated/sensitive than we realize!
So what we put on that skin matters!!
MIND BLOWER #1: YOU DON’T STINK BECAUSE YOU SWEAT.
Sweat itself isn’t what “stinks.”
Body odor happens when bacteria on your skin break down components in sweat (especially underarm sweat).
So if you’ve ever felt like:
“I’m clean… WHY do I still smell?”
…it’s because this is a bacteria + sweat interaction problem, not a “you’re dirty” problem.
🤯 MIND BLOWER #2: DEODORANT AND ANTIPERSPIRANT ARE NOT THE SAME THING.
• DEODORANT = helps control odor
• ANTIPERSPIRANT = uses aluminum salts to temporarily reduce sweat by forming plugs in sweat ducts
My new deodorant is ALUMINUM-FREE. It’s not here to stop your body from sweating.. it’s here to keep you from smelling like you wrestled a swamp monster by 2pm 😅
🚫 WHY I MADE THIS ONE “NO BAKING SODA”
A lot of “natural” deodorants use BAKING SODA because it can help with odor…
BUT it’s also very alkaline (high pH), and for some people that can seriously irritate underarm skin.
And I’m not even saying this dramatically I bought a tallow deodorant that had baking soda in it and it LITERALLY burned my underarms!!! I have a scar from it. That’s when I decided: never again😅
✅ SO WHAT MAKES MINE WORK (WITHOUT THE BURN)?
I built this deodorant around MAGNESIUM HYDROXIDE because the whole goal is to help stop odor at the source (that bacteria/sweat situation). Magnesium hydroxide is commonly used in baking-soda-free deodorants for odor control.
And I made the base smooth + creamy (because I’ve tried the gritty ones too… the ones that pill up into little balls in your pits… absolutely not 😩).
🥩 AND NO… YOU’RE NOT GOING TO SMELL LIKE BEEF 😂
HOW TO USE (SO IT WORKS THE BEST)
Apply to clean, DRY underarms
1–2 swipes is plenty
Let it set for a few seconds before you throw on a black shirt
aluminum-free
baking-soda-free
smooth (not gritty)
